The one reason why I like mexico is because of there national coat of arms its stands for a symbol which denotes an independent state in the form of a heraldic achievement.The royal arms of a monarchy, which sometimes is identical to the national arms, is sometimes described as arms of dominion or arms of sovereignty.

The BFG book and movie

Last term our literacy teacher (Mr Wiseman) read us a the book the BFG by Roald dahl. At the 10 of August we went to watch it at Sylvia park. I think the movie was cool and funny. It looked boring at the start until it got further into the movie. But I think the book was better because the book gave more detail then the movie, like describing the characters better then the movie and the book was a little bit diffrent to the movie's way.

some bits were different then the movie because in the book it said the Giants were put in to a hole but on the movie they were put on a island surrounded by water and they could not swim so the BFG gave then heaps on snozzcumbers and snozzcumber seeds.

My Favourite character was the BFG because the BFG was kind of Fob and he couldn't pronounce words proporly and didn't go school. The BFG said that Giants don't have mothers or fathers. the BFG was a funny and friendly giant then the other nine giants they were all bully's to the Big friendly giant.

My favourite part about it was when the BFG showed sophie were he catches dreams and collects them. He catches bad dreams and Good dreams. he can also mix them up like the part were he makes a dream were the Queen has a dream that nine hungry ate 13 children
  and sophie was siting on the queens window

Olympics began?

The creator of the very first olympics was a man named pelops who lived in peloponnesus. His father tantalus, was the founder of the house of atreus.

The Olympic Games, which originated in ancient Greece as many as 3,000 years ago all the way up to 2016. The olympic games revived in the late 19th century and have become the world's preeminent sporting competition.

From the 8th century B.C to the 4th century A.D., the games were held every four years in olympia, located in the western peloponnese peninsula, In honour of the god zeus. The first modern olympics took place in 1896 in athens, and featured 280 participants from 13 nations competing in 43 events.

The ancient Greeks loved competition of all sorts. Each year the various city state of greece sent athletes to festivals of games which were held to honour zeus and other greek gods. The most important and prestigious were the games held at Olympia to honor Zeus the king of the gods. These Olympic games took place in the summer only once every four years.

So the olympics is the biggest sporting event in the world. The Olympics is held every 4 years in a single city. In the Olympics, countries from all around the world take part of the Olympics. They are divided into a summer and winter games. This year 2016 the Olympics is held in Rio Janeiro. Last year the Olympics was held in Glasgow.  

This year it is different to the Ancient Olympics. Womens are allowed, the stadium is better, better gear and better sports.

Today the 26th of may we made an arts and craft project using 11 Nails,wood,wool,hammer. for me and izac's we made a star with the wool and nail the steps we had to use was 1: The first step was to put your paper star to trace around with the elven nails 2: We had to hammer the nails in to a star shape 3:we had to make the star shape with the wool we were given

Term 2 Immersion assembly

We are now in term 2, our theme for this term is AS I SEE IT. this morning we had an immersion assembly, each team had something different to share. The first team to share their item was team 1 there item was about there favourite things,

Ms George's favourite chocolate was Hokey,pokey and learning about their favourite things. Team 2's item was about colours related to sessions like  autumn,winter,summer,spring . Each class had there own session to write,learn and read about. Team 3'7s movie was about a TV show grand design,a group of friends meet on Facebook and design a house for them and their friends.

Team 4 Item was all about comic books and superheroes. There movie was about a evil villain named Bear Baxindine who wanted to steal a net book but he got away with but then the amateur heroes came to clam the net book back but the amateur heroes get captured and taken back to his secret lair .

Then out of nowhere the teacher avengers came to save the day by saving the ametuer heroes and getting that net book back from the evil villain bear Baxindine “TEACHER AVENGERS ASSEMBLE” exclaimed team leader america. The teacher avengers are wondering woman, bat-guy and team leader america. As they charged team leader america threw his shield and hit bear Baxindine KA-POW and bear baxindine was sent flying to Africa and the net book was sent back to the cupboard.

Team 5's item was about the four boats named Te aurere,Hokule'a,Hine moana and hikianalia where having a race between the four waka's Te aurere,Hokule'a,Hine'moana and Hikianalia. The race between the four wakas was a funny race because they where going all over the place some going right,left and backwards.the waka that won the race was green and in second place was blue third was red last was yellow.

My fiafia Review

yesterday all of pt England school had a fiafia. Lots of people came to watch our performances. The first thing we did was get changed in our holding rooms. The type of clothes that we had to wear was a plain white t-shirt,chinos or denim pant and a checkered  shirt. When we were ready we all lined up on the field in front of the stage we where there just after the band. My group for fiafia was senior Hip Hop group our songs were California love,Hit the road jack and tricky, our tutor for Hip Hop was miss Haere. My most favourite part of fiafia was the food and when Brooklyn used her phone on the camera she put a beard on miss haere while recording her with it on her.

Introducing Hosea for 2016

My reflection for last year was camp at Kawau Island it was fun there. My 2 goals for 2016 is to do better at reading and to do better a maths. My favourite food to eat is burger king and mcdonalds.
